Three OnePlus TV U1S TVs Are Official, With 50″, 60″ & 65″ Displays

OnePlus has announced three new TVs. All of them are called the OnePlus TV U1S, but come with different screen sizes. The company introduced 50″, 60″, and 65″ devices. These devices have been presented in India.

Do note that these products are extremely similar when it comes to specs, almost identical, aside from the difference in display sizes. They come with really thin bezels, and look really nice overall.

Three OnePlus TV U1S TVs debut with 4K LED displays, Dolby Vision, Dolby Audio & more

All three devices feature 4K LED panels (3840 x 2160), with a 93-percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Dolby Vision support is included, and the same goes for HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG support.

OnePlus had a lot to say about these displays. Gamma Engine with MEMC is included, and the same goes for Super Resolution and Noise Reduction features. Color Space Mapping has been mentioned as well, as well as Dynamic Contrast, Anti-Aliasing, and AI-PQ.

Android TV 10 comes pre-installed, with OxygenPlay 2.0. Google Assistant is built-in, and the TV works with Alexa as well. You do also get hands-free voice control with Speak Now.

These TVs come with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz) support. Bluetooth 5.0 LE is also supported. All three TVs have three HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an optical port, and an Ethernet port.

The largest TV has better speakers

There is some difference when it comes to speakers. The 50 and 55″ models come with two speakers. The 65″ variant includes four of them (2x high frequency, 2x full frequency). DTS-HD is included in all TVs, and the same goes for Dolby Audio support. OnePlus also noted that the speakers have been co-tuned with Dynaudio.

The OnePlus Watch, Buds, and Buds Z can be connected to these TVs without a problem. You can even use the Watch to turn the TV on and off, scroll through content, control the volume, and so on.

OnePlus also included the new Smart Sleep Control feature that can turn the TV off automatically. It will turn it off when the OnePlus Watch realizes that you’ve fallen asleep.

The TVs also support the Multicast features, so you can cast two smartphone device screens on these TVs. TypeSync feature is also supported, and more.

These TVs have been announced in India, and it will be interesting to see if they’ll arrive in more markets. OnePlus did say, a while back, that it plans to push its TV products to more markets, including Europe. In India, these three TVs are priced at INR39,999 ($548), INR47,999 ($658), and INR62,999 ($863).
