Yesterday, Ice Universe confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is coming in four colors to choose from, Black, Beige, Green, and Light Violet. In his tweet, he said that the information is “100-percent” accurate.
Now, that may as well be true, but the names of those color options may have been wrong. He said that those are the colors, but he did not say those are the names Samsung will use.
Real names for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 colors seemingly revealed by an analyst
Ross Young, a well-known display analyst, responded to Ice Universe, saying that he heard those colors referred to in a different fashion. He said that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 color options may be called: “Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender”.
That is easily possible, but we’ll have to wait and see. It seems like Samsung may keep it simple with Black and Green options, but mix things up with the other two variants, we’ll see.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to arrive in August. It will launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3, S21 FE, Watch 4, and Watch Active 4, if the latest information is anything to go by.
The Z Flip 3 is expected to launch during a huge Unpacked event in August
Samsung is preparing a huge Unpacked event, to fill the gap left by the Galaxy Note series. As most of you know by now, Samsung won’t announce a new Galaxy Note smartphone in 2021. The lineup may make a comeback in 2022, though.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will support the S Pen stylus, and likely even ship with it. It will not include a dock inside the phone for the S Pen, though, unlike the Galaxy Note series. The Galaxy S21 FE is another device for which Samsung hopes will fill in the gap left by the Galaxy Note.
