A new update has started rolling out to the OnePlus Nord 2. This update brings the April security patch to the OnePlus Nord 2, and a fix for a rather annoying Facebook feature.
If you’ve been having problems with the Facebook video call, well, that should no longer be an issue. Some users had display issues while using the Facebook video call feature.

That’s basically everything that OnePlus listed in the changelog. Do note that this update seems to be rolling out in both Europe and India as we speak. The update weighs around 213MB, and it’s marked as ‘A.20’ updated.
The update is rolling out OTA (Over-The-Air), and your phone will let you know once it becomes available. You can, of course, always check for it manually, if you want. Simply navigate to your phone’s Settings -> System -> System updates.
This is a staged update, as is usually the case. It may not arrive to your phone straight away, but be assured it’s coming in the near future. OnePlus always releases its updates to a smaller number of people, to be sure everything is alright before, it pushes it out to everyone.
You can even flash the update manually
If you’re unwilling to wait for the update to arrive to your phone, there’s a solution for that as well. You can flash it manually, though do that only if you know exactly what you’re doing.
The download links for the update are available from XDA Developers. You’ll find them if you scroll to the end of the provided article, that goes for both versions, regardless if you have the Indian or the European variant of the phone.
The OnePlus Nord 2 has been out in the market for quite some time now. This phone launched back in July last year, and its successor is expected to arrive in a couple of months.
The device is actually quite powerful, but OnePlus didn’t exactly launch it in as many markets as we thought it would. It remains to be seen if the same will happen with the OnePlus Nord 3.
