Microsoft Releases A Big Update For Windows 11 On September 20th

Windows 11 will receive a big update on September 20. As per the reports, this update is called 22H2, bringing some new features to the OS.

Windows 11 is the newest version of the Microsoft operating system, and the company is doing its best to make it stand out. The OS has received some updates since its first launch on October 5, 2021. However, Microsoft will release a big update on September 20 to improve its OS.

Just like any other update, the 22H2 brings some performance improvements. But it also adds new features, including app folders in the Start menu, drag and drop on the taskbar, and new touch gestures and animations.

Microsoft adds Live Captions features to make the 22H2 update more appealing. The feature allows deaf people or those with hard of hearing to understand the playing videos. A new Voice Access tool is also coming to Windows 11, letting users control their devices using voice commands.

A new big update for Windows 11 is one the way

Windows 11 22H2 souvenirs are not limited to adding these features. Microsoft has also redesigned the Task Manager section. The new design adds a dark mode and a new layout with a command bar and efficiency mode that allows you to detect and limit apps that are consuming resources. Similarly, Microsoft overhauled Snap Layouts in the 22H2 update for more efficiency.

The September 20 update is not the only update that Windows 11 is about to receive this year. The OS will also get a new update later this year that adds features like File Explorer tabs and a new Suggested Actions feature.

If your device is eligible for this new update, don’t miss it. Check your Windows Update section on September 20 for availability.

Microsoft also plans to unveil new tech products at the 10th anniversary of its Surface brand. We still don’t know what those products are, but they’ll likely launch to the market with Windows 11 22H2. The 22H2 update will be a free update for all Windows 11 users when it arrives this Fall.
