Samsung usually sells its flagship smartphones in some exclusive colors through its online store. It will be no different with the Galaxy S23 series, which debuts later this week. A fresh leak shows those exclusive colorways for the upcoming Galaxy flagships.
Leak shows the Galaxy S23 trio in Samsung-exclusive colors
Leaks and rumors so far have suggested that the Galaxy S23 trio will be available in at least four colors. We recently saw all three models in all of the rumored colorways, which Samsung is branding Botanic Green, Cotton Flower, Misty Lilac, and Phantom Black. These options should be available through most retailers around the world if not all.
But, if you buy a Galaxy S23 from Samsung.com, you will have some additional color options. A tipster earlier this month said the company is readying the phones in four such exclusive colors, namely Gray, Light Blue, Light Green, and Red. While they didn’t reveal whether all three models will be available in these colors through Samsung’s online store, the latest leak gives us more details.
It appears the Korean firm will sell the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ in Gray and Light Green, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be available in Light Blue and Red. This has been revealed in leaked official Galaxy S23 marketing materials for Thailand (via). You can check out the phones in these Samsung-exclusive colors in the images below.
The Galaxy S23 will be costlier, but you can get a free storage upgrade
The Galaxy S23 series will seemingly come with a higher price tag than the Galaxy S22 in most markets, including Europe. Based on leaks so far, the US is the only major market where Samsung is keeping the prices unchanged. However, if you pre-order the new phones, you may get a free storage upgrade. The company will ship a higher storage variant to you even if you pay for a lower storage variant. It’s unclear if this promotion will be available globally, though.
Thankfully, it won’t be long before we find out. The Galaxy S23 series will debut in just over two days — on Wednesday, February 1. The Galaxy Unpacked event in San Fransisco will begin at 10:30 a.m. PT/1:30 p.m. ET.
