Earlier today, a well-known tipster confirmed that the OnePlus Pad will launch on February 7. It will launch alongside the global variant of the OnePlus 11, during a launch event in India. Now, another tipster partnered up with MySmartPrice to give us the very first proper look at the OnePlus Pad.
Take a first proper look at the OnePlus Pad, OnePlus’ first tablet
If you take a look at the images below the article, you’ll get to see CAD-based renders of the device. @OnLeaks is usually spot on when it comes to such images. So, chances are this is the final design of the tablet.
You can clearly see that its bezels will be quite thin, for a tablet. Its front-facing camera will be included in the bezel itself, so you won’t have to deal with a display camera hole or a notch.
One thing you’ll also notice is that this tablet has a circular camera island on the back. The positioning is rather odd, though. Unlike the vast majority of other tablets, this camera island is centered, but when you hold the tablet in landscape view. We still don’t know if one or two cameras will be placed in there, though.
The device will include an 11.6-inch display, and launch on February 7
The source says that the OnePlus Pad will feature an 11.6-inch display. We’re still not sure what material will OnePlus use on the back of this tablet, but the frame will probably be made out of metal.
That’s all the information that we have at the moment. You can, however, expect a Snapdragon chip to be included here, along with fast charging. Stereo speakers will also be included, as will Android 13 with OnePlus’ custom skin.
This tablet will launch alongside the global variant of the OnePlus 11, and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. All of these products will be unveiled during the February 7 event.
