The very first OnePlus 11 update is now rolling out

The very first OnePlus 11 update is now rolling out to users. This update is all about optimizing the OnePlus 11 experience, basically. It is starting to roll out in India, but other regions should get it soon.

The update is marked as ‘CPH2447_11_A.07’, and it includes January 2023 Android security patch. OnePlus did issue a changelog with this update, so we know exactly what’s going on.

The changelog is separated into three categories this time around, System, Communication, and Apps. The update improves overall system stability. It improves automatic adjustments of screen brightness in dark environments.

OnePlus also fixed an issue where the Quick Settings panel occasionally refused to be pulled down. The company did improve the stability of Wi-Fi too, and the same goes for the connection stability of Bluetooth and wired earphones.

The last entry in this changelog has to do with WhatsApp. OnePlus fixed an issue where photos refused to be shared in WhatsApp when it is opened in a floating window.

We can expect more such updates in the near future

As you can see, OnePlus did not include many entries in this changelog. This phone was quite stable since launch, so only smaller tweaks were needed, it seems. We will, of course, see more such updates moving forward.

OnePlus will do smaller tweaks to improve the overall experience, and squash some bugs that will inevitably pop up. Who knows, maybe the company even ends up delivering new features in one of future updates.

In case you’d like to know more about the OnePlus 11, we reviewed it quite recently. It’s a truly interesting phone, especially for users in the US, as it’s a lot more affordable there than it is in Europe. It really does offer a lot for that price tag, and may be worth it for a lot of people.
