This is your reminder that the Samsung Galaxy S23 pre-order deal ends tomorrow, February 16. That is because the devices officially launch on Friday, February 17. So if you’ve been waiting to put your order in, you’d better do it now.
Samsung has a pretty impressive pre-order deal for the entire Galaxy S23 lineup, which we have detailed here. But basically, you will get a free storage upgrade, so if you order the 256GB model, you’ll get upgraded to the 512GB model for free. And so on.
While trade-in values are not that great right now, it’s unlikely that will change after the pre-order period is over. And while we will see new deals after February 17, they likely won’t be better than this. Getting a 512GB Galaxy S23 Ultra for only $1,199 is not a bad deal at all.
Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra is a pretty impressive phone
We have already reviewed the Galaxy S23 Ultra, so if you’re looking to pick that one up, I’d recommend reading it. It’s a pretty impressive phone, but if you’re coming from a Galaxy S22 Ultra, it’s likely not worth upgrading. Samsung did a lot of incremental changes here. Like ditching their own Exynos processors for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, which has greatly improved battery life. It has also greatly improved the camera, that’s part due to the new 200MP sensor as well.
As far as the other Galaxy S23 units go, we’ve only had the S23+ for a little over a day, so it’s hard to really say how good it is. And we have not received the regular Galaxy S23 from Samsung just yet. But they are likely just as good, at lower prices.
So this is your last chance to take advantage of Samsung and carrier’s pre-orders for the Galaxy S23, as this will end tomorrow around midnight.
