Last month, ShrimpApplePro, a tipster, said that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have thinner bezels than current-gen models. Now, he went to Twitter to basically re-confirm this info. He said that “other sources agree on the info”.
The iPhone 15 Pro models will seemingly have thinner bezels than current-gen units
Considering ShrimpApplePro’s track record, and the fact he said this twice, we do expect the iPhone 15 Pro models to offer thinner bezels. Now, we mean both the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max or Ultra, depending on what naming scheme Apple goes for.
Do note that the iPhone 15 Ultra may end up being a separate model, and launch in addition to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. At least one report suggested it, so… just keep that in mind. In any case, I digress.
Considering that the iPhone 15 Pro models will include thinner bezels, they will offer more screen real estate, as the display sizes will remain the same. It probably won’t be a drastic difference, but more screen is always a good thing.
They will retain the same display sizes as the iPhone 14 Pro series
The iPhone 15 Pro will ship with a 6.1-inch panel, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to include a 6.7-inch display. Both models will include flat displays, by the way, as that is Apple’s way.
Now, as a side note, all iPhone 15 models will include a Type-C port at the bottom. Apple may limit that Type-C port, though, so you may have to use Apple-certified products in order to use it.
It’s also worth saying that the vanilla iPhone 15 models, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, will include a Dynamic Island this time around. Apple seemingly plans to make the notch a thing of the past this year. It remains to be seen if all that info will end up being accurate, though, of course.
