New Galaxy S23 Ultra promo videos highlight cameras, S Pen & more

Samsung has released a bunch of new promo videos for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. We have three 15-second videos promoting the 200MP primary rear camera, S Pen, and the 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that boasts QHD+ resolution and 1750 nits of peak brightness. A fourth video, which is just under a minute long, highlights more of the phone’s key features.

Samsung releases new promo videos for the Galaxy S23 Ultra

If you watched Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on February 1, you probably remember the company using the phrase “can you send me that” to promote the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200MP camera. It tried to imply a message that the new Galaxy captures more detailed photos than any other phone out there. So much so that all of your friends, colleagues and even strangers will say: “can you send me that” photo? The new promo video follows the same theme.

Samsung is using the phrase to promote the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s S Pen as well. The short video quickly gets the message across that the stylus pen makes it incredibly easy to take notes on your phone, even better than on paper. The Samsung Notes app automatically arranges your hand-written text for a neat presentation, while notes taken on paper may look messy if you’re in a hurry. The company is trying to tell you that your friends will say “can you send me that” if they see your0 notes taken on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Note that this is the same S Pen that Samsung shipped with the Galaxy S22 Ultra last year.

The third 15-second promo video for the Galaxy S23 Ultra has Samsung bragging about the phone’s display. Once again, the company is equipping the device with the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel as last year. There’s no change at all, not even in terms of brightness. But it’s still a pretty bright screen with rich colors and crisp images. Samsung says the phone will allow “epic viewing even in bright light,” so you can enjoy your favorite show in the best picture quality wherever you are.

The new Galaxy gets an improved selfie camera and captures better 8K videos

Samsung’s fourth new Galaxy S23 Ultra promo video goes into more detail about its cameras. Along with 200MP images, the phone can also capture 8K videos at 30fps (frames per second). You also get clear zoom shots thanks to two dedicated optical zoom cameras — 3X and 10X. The 12MP selfie camera may be a resolution downgrade from last year’s 40MP unit, but the company has improved the picture quality. The new Galaxy boasts improved night photography as well.

Powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that Qualcomm made exclusively for the Galaxy S23 series, these are Samsung’s fastest phones ever. Coupled with an improved cooling system and features like Pause USB Power Delivery, you’ll get a gaming experience like never before.
