OnePlus 11 is finally official. After being announced in China last month, the newest smartphone from OnePlus is going global. The OnePlus 11 is pretty impressively priced, to be quite honest. The OnePlus 11 starts at $699, which undercuts its biggest rival, Samsung’s Galaxy S23, by a few hundred bucks.
The OnePlus 11 is an evolution on the OnePlus 10 that was announced last year. Keeping mostly the same design, with the only real changes being to the camera bump here. The OnePlus 11 is available in two colors: Titan Black and Eternal Green. It also uses matte frosted glass which will keep the phone from really picking up fingerprints, which is really nice to have here. The camera bump is now rounded, which gives it a unique look and many either love it or hate it.
Top-notch specs
The OnePlus 11 does also sport top-notch specs, with the very best specs available. That includes a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz adaptive AMOLED display. It also has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor inside with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There’s also a massive 5,000mAh capacity battery inside.
On the back, you’ll find three cameras. There’s a main sensor which is the Sony IMX890. That’s a 50-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. Then we have the ultrawide sensor, which is a Sony IMX581 and it’s 48-megapixels with an aperture of f/2.2. This one is also used for taking macro shots. Finally, there’s the portrait telephoto lens. This is a Sony IMX709 sensor, that’s 32-megapixels and has an aperture of f/2.0.
All of that for $699 is rather impressive for OnePlus. And definitely a good deal.
