UPDATE: While the CAD-based renders that got leaked are accurate, @OnLeaks seems to have shared the wrong display info at first. He went to Twitter to correct his mistake. The display on the phone will be 6.2 inches after all, not 5.8 inches.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: The Google Pixel 8 Pro CAD-based renders surfaced yesterday, and @OnLeaks is now back with another leak. The tipster partnered up with MySmartPrice to reveal the Pixel 8 design, and confirm the phone will be considerably more compact.

Let’s talk about the design first, however. The Pixel 8 will look very similar to the Pixel 8 Pro, actually, as expected. It will have fewer cameras on the back, though. Compared to the Pixel 7, it will have considerably more rounded corners. That’s what many people prefer, to avoid getting poked in the hand when holding the device.
The Pixel 8 will have very thin bezels, though not uniform ones, it seems. A centered display camera hole will once again be a part of the package, while all of its physical buttons will sit on the right side.
Two cameras will be included on the back, inside a well-known camera strip. Google will retain the camera strip design from the Pixel 7, basically. Which means that the entire thing will be covered by metal.
The phone will include a considerably smaller display than the Pixel 7
Now, what’s interesting here is that the Pixel 8 will be considerably smaller than the Pixel 7. It will include a 5.8-inch display, based on information provided by @Onleaks. The Pixel 7, as many of you know, includes a 6.3-inch panel.
The phone is expected to measure roughly about 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm (12mm with the camera visor). You can check out the CAD-based renders in the gallery down below. There is also a video clip down there, showing us the phone from all sides.
Google will almost certainly announce the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in either September or October this year. Based on the past two years, though, it will most likely be at some point in October.
