March 2023 Pixel Feature Drop details appear ahead of the update

Pixel users have been eagerly awaiting the March 2023 Pixel Feature Drop. That update was supposed to go out two days ago, but that didn’t happen. Well, at least the details regarding the March 2023 Pixel Feature Drop surfaced.

March 2023 Pixel Feature Drop details surface

As some of you may have noticed, fall detection has been rolling out to the Pixel Watch. It’s coming via a server-side change, and it’s actually a part of the Pixel Feature Drop for March, kind of.

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about phones. The “faster Night Sight” feature is coming to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, after it rolled out to the Pixel 7 series in October. This feature will make sure that your phone takes images faster when using Night Sight in a low light situation.

‘Direct My Call’ feature is coming to two older Pixel phones

‘Direct My Call’ is coming to the Pixel 4a and Pixel 5a handsets. The ‘Health Connect’ app will come with this update to Pixel phones too. It will basically get installed on your phone.

Many of you know that Google also announced the expansion of the ‘Magic Eraser’ feature. It will be free for Pixel devices, even those that didn’t have it thus far, while it will be a paid feature for other Android users. It’s a part of the Google One subscription in that case.

The update is expected to arrive any day now

There will likely be more changes included by Google, but these are the highlights, allegedly. Google is expected to release the update anytime now, as it was already supposed to roll out. The company did not share a reason why it’s late, in case you’re wondering. So, just sit tight, and wait, it’s probably right around the corner.
