The Motorola Edge 40 handset got announced earlier this month, and its wallpapers are now available to download. There are actually 25 static wallpapers included here, live images are not included.
Official Motorola Edge 40 wallpapers are up for grabs
That being said, there are four device-specific images included, 21 regular My UX wallpapers, and a set of images optimized for the desktop mode (12 of them). The device-specific images go hand-in-hand with the color variants of the phone itself: Eclipse Black, Lunar Blue, Nebula Green, and Viva Magenta.
These images come in 2160 x 2400 resolution, well, most of them. Some My UX images measure 1080 x 2400 pixels, and the desktop mode wallpapers come in a higher resolution of 3840 x 2160.
In the gallery below, you’ll find samples from all three categories. You’ll get to see all four device-specific wallpapers, and some samples from the ‘My UX’ and desktop categories.
Not all wallpapers are included in the gallery, though. The ones that are have been compressed. If you’d like to grab these wallpapers in their full size, you’ll need to hit the download link below the article.
The phone does come with a compelling set of specs
The Motorola Edge 40 is one of the two ‘Edge 40’ devices that the company announced, the cheaper one. This handset is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, and comes with 8GB of RAM.
It features a 6.55-inch fullHD+ P-OLED display, which offers a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone does include stereo speakers, and a 4,400mAh battery on the inside. 68W wired charging is supported, along with 15W wireless charging.
