We’ve seen all kinds of interesting tests from GizmoSlip over the years, and the one we’ll talk about today is no different. Well, it’s different, but it’s odd enough in its own way. We’ll get to see the iPhone 14 face one gram of C4.
Watch the iPhone 14 face one gram of C4 thanks to a new YouTube video
Does this sound completely unnecessary? Well, it is. On the flip side, it’s interesting, and some could also refer to it as a fun test. The entire video, which has a duration of over 8 minutes, is embedded below the article.
Having said that, one gram of C4 is not that much. In fact, it’s such a small ball of explosive, that a detonator cannot fit on the inside. So, the guys had to improvise, as you’ll see in the provided video.
The iPhone 14 got propped up on top of a rock, with an improved detonator attached to the explosive. C4 is a plastic explosive, and without a proper detonator, it won’t exactly do much. That’s why the setup looks as weird as it does.
The explosion itself happens around the 4:50 mark, so if you don’t want to watch the entire video, that’s where you need to jump. You can also see the explosion in slow motion, of course, as GizmoSlip usually shows us its experiments in slow motion.
Spoiler alert, the iPhone 14 did not survive this explosion, as expected
As expected, the iPhone 14 did not survive. In fact, it’s difficult to imagine a phone that would. The device got completely destroyed by this explosive, as if a huge bullet went right through it.
This experiment really doesn’t serve any purpose other than to entertain the audience. We’ve seen many such experiments from this YouTube channel. Once again, if you’d like to check out the entire video, it’s embedded down below.
