After months of leaks and rumors, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G appears to be finally nearing its launch. Rumors are that the device will debut later this month or in July. Ahead of that, it has popped up on benchmarking platform Geekbench.
OnePlus is rumored to be readying two variants of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G with model numbers CPH2491 and CPH2493. It’s unclear how the two variants differ. They could be intended for different markets. The former visited Geekbench several times last month, putting in impressive numbers a few times. One of the listings shows a single-core score of 1,559 and a multi-core score of 4,256 on Geekbench v6.
The OnePlus CPH2493 (second variant) has now surfaced on Geekbench v6. Its scores of 1153 and 3180 on single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, are a bit lower than the first variant of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G (via). But, factors like test scenarios and software optimizations come into play during benchmark runs. So it shouldn’t be accurately indicative of what the new phone will bring to the table.
Rest assured, both variants are getting up to 16GB of RAM and are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. It’s a 4nm chipset featuring one prime CPU core clocked at 3.05GHz, three mid-cores clocked at 2.85GHz, and four efficiency cores operating at a maximum frequency of 1.80GHz. MediaTek has paired the CPU with the Mali-G710 GPU. The OnePlus Nord 3 5G will run Android 13 out of the box.

Geekbench listings never tell us anything notable more than the Android version, processor, and RAM details of tested phones. It’s no different with the latest entry for the OnePlus Nord 3 5G. However, we already know plenty about this phone thanks to prior leaks and rumors. As said earlier, the device has been doing rounds of the rumor mill for several months now. There’s a strong indication that it’s the rebadged OnePlus Ace 2V that launched in China in March this year.
In that case, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G should give us a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 2772×1240 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,450 nits. OnePlus should offer up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage to go with 16GB of RAM. We are also in for a 50MP primary camera, 16MP selfie camera, under-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and an alert slider.
