A new OnePlus Pad update has started rolling out, and it brings new features to the table, in addition to fixing bugs and more. The update started rolling out in France, but we presume that it’ll roll out more widely after the testing phase is over.
A new OnePlus Pad update brings new features, bug fixes, and more
This update is marked as OPD2203_13.1.0.544(EX01), and at the time of writing this article, it wasn’t officially announced by the company. The OnePlus Pad users did start sharing screenshots of the update, though, hence the information.
The update itself weighs 714MB, and there are actually quite a few entries in the changelog that we’ll talk about. All the changes are listed under the ‘System’ category, by the way.
This update adds support for Multi-Screen Connect. On top of that, it improves the stylus functionality. You can now use the stylus to quickly bring up the Quick note panel.
This update improves the stylus experience, and also the gaming experience
The stability of stylus connections has also been improved, says OnePlus. The touch control experience has seen some improvements on top of everything, and the same goes for system stability overall.
OnePlus also says that this update will boost your gaming experience on the tablet, though specific changes were not listed. We presume that the tablet has been better optimized for gaming.
The last entry in the changelog says that OnePlus issued fixes for “some known issues that affect Photos”. That is basically it.
Some users in France received this update recently, as an OTA (Over-The-Air) update. It remains to be seen how long will it take for users in other regions to start getting it. Chances are it will happen in the near future.
The OnePlus Pad launched back in February, but it didn’t go on sale until later April. So, it’s a fairly new device, and OnePlus is still rolling out these balancing updates, as expected.
