So, surprising no one, these videos are just YouTube Shorts embedded into the Play Store. It makes sense, as it should be easier to just embed videos rather than code a proprietary video player. Since these are shorts, they also exist on YouTube.

So, what do these videos show you? Well, as stated, YouTube got into contact with a plethora of different creators to make the videos. These creators will show off some of their recommended apps. They’ll explain why they use those apps and why you should be using them.

There will be a rotating cast of creators including David Benjamin, @iHasCupquake, @jackieAina, TechMeOut, and @Alphard. Those were the creators showcased in the trailer below. We’re sure that there will be more creators over time.

As for the apps that will be advertised, they won’t necessarily focus on new apps. One of the apps showcased was Pokemon Go, which reached its 7th birthday a few months back. So, these videos will push new apps, resurface older apps, bring light to hidden gems, and more.
