US pricing leaks for Pixel 8 series and Pixel Watch 2

There’s less than 24 hours to go until Google’s 2023 Fall Pixel event, and leaks for allegedly official US pricing on the new Pixel 8 series as well as the Pixel Watch 2 have popped up thanks to Arsène Lupin on X.

In addition to the US pricing, the leaks also include a handful of official promotional images for the products. As well as confirm that there will be multiple storage options for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. These price leaks, in conjunction with what are basically leaks with every other piece of information about the new devices, leave absolutely nothing to the imagination at this point. So if there’s something you wanted to know about any of Google’s new hardware before tomorrow, you can probably find it.

That shouldn’t be too much of a shock though. Because this tends to happen every single year. And not just with Google devices. Still, the leaks do tend to suck much of the excitement out of the room.

Pricing for the Pixel 8 will allegedly start at $699

Google’s new phones this year will start at slightly higher prices. But the cost still seems mostly reasonable. Beginning with the Pixel 8, US pricing for the phone will start at $699. This is compared to last year’s Pixel 7 which launched at a starting price of $599. So Google is upping the price by $100 this time around. The $699 price will net you the phone with 128GB of internal storage. Should you need more, you can plunk down an additional $60 to bump up to the 256GB model which will apparently retail for $759.

For Pixel 8 Pro buyers, there are apparently three storage options. The 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models. Prices will start at $999 for the 128GB model of the Pro. But you can once again bump that up to the 256GB if you need more space. The increase is the same here at $60 with the price going up from $999 to $1,059. Though if you really want more storage space you can bump to the 512GB for $1,179.

As for the Pixel Watch 2, pricing will be the same as the original Pixel Watch. Which means it’ll be $349 for the Wi-Fi model and $399 for the LTE model.
