Explore VR worlds with the Meta Quest 2, down to $200

There was a time when VR headsets were incredibly expensive, but thanks to the Meta Quest 2, and this current deal on it, getting into VR has never been easier. In the earlier days of VR, the cost to get into a headset was several hundred dollars, and for many, this just wasn’t worth it. That’s what made the Meta Quest and Meta Quest 2 so good. They were much more affordable and have provided a very good VR experience. The regular price for the Meta Quest 2 used to be $250. But it’s gotten a permanent price drop to $200 now.

If you’ve yet to pick up a VR headset but you’ve wanted one for a while, there’s never been a better time to grab one. With the Meta Quest 2 you can download games straight onto the storage of the headset. Everything is self-contained as well. That means you can play wirelessly and that gives you more freedom in where you play. One of the cool things about the Quest 2 is that you set up a play space every time you boot up the headset. This lets you designate the barriers of the play area. Giving the headset a versatile nature that doesn’t tie you down to a PC. Thereby freeing you from needing to be near your PC if you want to play VR games.

Instead, you could play in the living room. Or the basement. Or even outside of the home. However, you can also use a link cable and hook this up to your PC if you want to play PC VR games. So long as those games are compatible. And that’s another reason this is such a great headset. Because you’re not limited to just what’s available on the Quest store. This particular model comes with 128GB of storage, though, so you do have plenty of room for games.
