Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Tab S10 series at some point in October. The company will ditch the regular Galaxy Tab S10 this time. So, we’ll only see the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the beefier Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra this year. As the launch is approaching, Samsung is getting all the necessary certifications for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra from different regulatory bodies.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s Wi-Fi and 5G variant spotted on the BIS certification website
Earlier this week, the 5G variant of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra received certification from China’s 3C regulatory authority. Today, folks over at 91Mobiles have spotted the Wi-Fi variant of the flagship tablet on the same certification website. Besides, 5G and Wi-Fi variants of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra have also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The model numbers that were spotted on the BIS websites are SM-X920 and SM-X926B.
Let’s not forget that the Chinese 3C listing confirms that the model number SM-X920 is the Wi-Fi variant. Therefore, it is safe to assume that SM-X926B could be the 5G variant of the upcoming Android tablet. The publication also notes that the Galaxy Tab S10+ might come in three models – SM-X826B, SM-X826N, and SM-X828U. Whereas, the Ultra variant might also come in three models – SM-X926B, SM-X926C, and SM-X926N.
The Plus & Ultra model could launch with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra could sport a 14.6-inch display similar to its predecessor. Besides, the high-end tablet might ship 45W wired fast charging support. Plus, there are claims about the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset under the hood.
If the claims about the processor for the Galaxy Tab S10 series turn out to be true, the devices will undoubtedly be performance beasts. Notably, the Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ maxes out at 3.4GHz. The speed is slightly above the 3.36GHz speed of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor on the Tab S9 Ultra.
Talking about RAM and storage, the Ultra model could ship with 12GB and 16GB RAM with three different storage options – 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. At this point, we can’t confirm the launch date of the Galaxy Tab S10 series. However, the presence of the tablets on multiple certification websites hints at the imminent launch.
