Coming in at only $249.99, this is a great onramp for people looking to get into the Galaxy ecosystem of wearables.
This new watch completes the trifecta of Galaxy watches. Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. This one will be the more affordable of the two.
Samsung launched the new Galaxy Watch FE
The watch comes in a 40mm size, so it’s not for people who like larger watches. Since it’s the FE variant, it won’t have the best specs in the world. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. As for the battery, there’s a 247mAh battery inside of it. To put that into perspective, the 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 has a 300mAh battery.
Where Samsung didn’t make cuts was in the build quality. You’re still getting a metal body with the watch. It’s made from aluminum, and the display is protected by sapphire glass. Also, it still has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. This means that you won’t have to worry if you’re caught in the rain.
The Galaxy Watch FE comes with many of the health features that are on the Galaxy Watch 7. These include different sensors like a heart rate monitor, a BIA tool, fitness apps, and tools to help you workout. So, if you’re a health nut, then you won’t have to worry about losing out on any helpful health features.
The Galaxy Watch FE comes in three colors: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver. These colors all look great on the watch. So, no matter which one you choose, you’ll be rolling in style.
