iPhone 17 lineup will deliver three different designs

Apple will announce four iPhone 17 smartphones later this year, and we’ll get three different designs as part of that. The iPhone 17 Pro’s design was shown by Jon Prosser recently, followed by the iPhone 17 Air design.

Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup will deliver three different designs, it seems

The iPhone 17 Pro will have the same rear camera positioning as its predecessor, but all of that will be a part of a horizontal camera island now. That camera island will stretch from the left side of the back to the right. The iPhone 17 Pro Max will presumably have the same look.

The iPhone 17 Air, on the other hand, will also have a horizontal camera bar, but a much thinner one. Only one camera will sit inside that camera bar, by the way, based on what was shown the other day.

And then there’s the vanilla iPhone 17. Jon Prosser went to X to share a detail regarding the vanilla model. He said that the base iPhone 17 variant will have the same look as the base iPhone 16. So, we’ll get two vertically-aligned cameras on the back.

This is a rather odd move by Apple

So, that means that we’ll get three different designs within the iPhone 17 lineup. That move is totally unlike Apple, and the first time it’s happening, actually.

All smartphones will feature a flat frame all around, and all of them will include a Dynamic Island on the front. All of their displays will be flat, and the bezels around them will be rather thin.

In a recent report, it was said that Apple is also looking to ditch titanium for the iPhone 17 Pro models. The company will seemingly use aluminum on three out of four iPhone 17 models. The only one that will use titanium is the iPhone 17 Air. All of these phones are expected to arrive in September.
