Earlier this month, Tecno announced that it will be present at this year’s MWC (Mobile World Congress) event, which will kick off on March 3rd in Barcelona, Spain. At the event, the company teased the unveiling of new Camon series smartphones, a laptop, and AI glasses. Now, the brand has shared more details about the event and has confirmed the names of the products it will introduce soon. As per the new announcement, Tecno will introduce its Camon 40 series of smartphones, the MegaBook S14 laptop, and a couple of AI glasses at its upcoming MWC 2025 event.
Tecno will showcase the Camon 40 series with a dedicated camera button and advanced AI
First up, Tecno will unveil a few Camon 40 series smartphones with a dedicated camera shutter and advanced AI capabilities at its upcoming MWC 2025 event. The brand didn’t reveal how many phones will be part of the Camon 40 lineup. The new Tecno will have a focus on delivering an impressive photography experience. The company said that the dedicated camera button of these phones will “revolutionize the snap photography experience with zero-delay performance”. Tecno has shared some promotional images of the phones, revealing that it will place the camera button on the left-side frame of these devices.
Furthermore, Tecno AI and the latest MediaTek Ultimate processors will power the Tecno Camon 40 series. They will enable advanced multi-skin tone imaging for more natural and vibrant images. The new phones will also have AI-driven enhancements for photo generation, smart search, and intelligent calling. Tecno will unveil more details about the Camon 40 series’ AI features at the “Tecno AI Ecosystem Product Launch” event on March 4th.
A lightweight Tecno MegaBook S14 notebook and two AI glasses are also coming
Tecno will also launch the MegaBook S14 laptop alongside the new Camon series phones. The company is touting the device as the “world’s lightest 14-inch OLED laptop”. Similar to the new phones, the notebook will also offer Tecno AI features. The company aims to provide users with a redefined “portable productivity” experience with AI-enhanced tools.
Furthermore, Tecno will launch two AI glasses, including the Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro, at the MWC 2025 event. The brand said that these products combine powerful AI functionalities with advanced imaging capabilities and a sleek design.
