The Vivo X200 Ultra will seemingly launch in April, and it won’t come alone. This information comes from ‘Experience more’ tipster, who shared the details via Weibo (Chinese social media).
The Vivo X200 Ultra is allegedly coming in April, but it won’t come alone
He claims that the Vivo X200 Ultra will arrive alongside the Vivo X200s. Both of these smartphones are expected to launch mid-April, based on what was said here.
That’s not all, however. He mentioned that a 35mm main snapper will be on board, and a large sensor for its ultrawide camera. That is in line with the information we’ve talked about not long ago.
Vivo will make some interesting changes here. The company will allegedly use two 1/1.28-inch 50-megapixel cameras on the phone, one for the main camera, and another for the ultrawide unit.
Its main camera will default to 1.5x aka 35mm, it seems
The thing is, the main camera will default to 1.5x zoom aka 35mm focal length. The ultrawide snapper will default to 1x instead of 0.5x or 0.6x, though you’ll be able to easily switch to other focal lengths.
The third camera on the phone will be a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto unit (1/1.4-inch sensor size). In other words, Vivo will stick to a 50-megapixel main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera from the Vivo X200 Pro. The ultrawide camera will be a major boost on the ‘Ultra’ model, though.
When it comes to the Vivo X200s, well, we don’t know much about it. It will be inferior to the Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro, that much we do know. More details could surface in the near future.
The Vivo X200 Ultra could utilize Qualcomm’s most powerful chip
The Vivo X200 Ultra is tipped to utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, unlike its siblings. Both the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro are fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, instead of Qualcomm’s flagship.
We’re still not sure if the Vivo X200 Ultra will get a global variant. Its predecessor, the Vivo X100 Ultra, did not.
