Motorola’s Next Razr Is Coming April 24 — And There Might Be Three of Them

Motorola is gearing up for its next big launch, which appears to be happening on April 24. That’s exactly two weeks from today. And if this teaser is anything to go by, we’re getting a new Razr. This should come as no surprise, as the Razr has been announced around this time for the past couple of years – though this year is a bit earlier than usual.

There’s been plenty of leaks of the Motorola Razr 60 series (Razr 2025 series in the US) already, including the Razr 60 Plus, which we leaked back in February. There have also been some rumors that Motorola could up the charging on the Razr 60 Ultra to 68W. That would make it one of the fastest charging phones available in the US – and the fastest charging flip phone in the US. Motorola already offers 68W charging on some of its other products, so this wouldn’t be a very surprising move, but we’d still welcome it with open arms.

Could we see three Razr’s this year?

Typically, Motorola has released two Razr models each year. A Razr and a Razr Plus. However, this year, we’ve been seeing a good amount of leaks naming both a “Plus” and an “Ultra” model. Now it is possible that those are the same models. Motorola uses the “Plus” name in the US and “Ultra” internationally. However, if we did get three Razr models this year, that would be pretty exciting.

Motorola currently makes the most exciting and interesting flip phones on the market. Sure, there are other flip phones like the Galaxy Z Flip 6, but it’s not as exciting, and hasn’t really changed much over the last few years. What makes the Razr so great is that large cover display and the fact you can run virtually any app on that display.
