LG G3 Information:
The LG G3 was one of the more anticipated devices of the year, with it's beautiful big display sporting a Quad HD screen(2k), 13 MP rear camera with laser auto focus, and the beautiful option of 3GB of RAM on the 32GB storage model. The phone was available in both 32GB and 16GB models though, with the 16GB device option coming with 2GB of RAM instead. Under the hod was a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, expandable storage of up to 128GB via microSD and a 3,000mAh battery to keep your device running all day. The G3 sports the same back buttons as its predecessor the LG G2, although slightly altered in the shape. It also carries a host of awesome LG features like Knock Code and Knock On all wrapped up in a nice clean and simple UI with a more flat look to the widgets, icons, and panels.
The LG G3 started with Android 4.4.2 out of the box, carries a 2.1MP front facing camera, and boosts previous OIS tech from the G2 to what LG is calling OIS+(optical image stabilization +)for better and more stable photos. It also features wireless charging so there is no need to actually plug it in if you have a compatible wireless charger. Here's the full list of specifications. The LG G3 feature's a 5.5-inch True HD IPS display with 2K resolution(2560 x 1440). A 13MP laser auto-focus camera with OIS+ technology, and a 2.1MP camera on the front. 16Gb or 32GB storage options, with 2GB of RAM on the 16GB and 3GB of RAM on the 32GB. LG G3 Editor Rating:
Out of all of the devices I have used so far, the LG G3 shines above all the rest. The camera is superb and takes amazing quality photos especially for a smartphone. The feeling of the device is nice in the hand and often I would found myself playing games for two to three hours on end with no discomfort, which is hard to accomplish. The screen is beautiful and bright and definitely made the games and videos, browsing and general use feel more enjoyable. I thought the back buttons for power and volume would be weird and that I would dislike the placement, but I found them to be rather useful on the back as opposed to on the sides. The audio could have been a little better, but it's hard to beat out smartphone audio like on the HTC M8. Thanks to the RAM, everything felt snappy and games were a breeze to play, and battery life even with power draining functions like gaming lasted me pretty much all day. It's definitely a solid device, and so far my favorite of the year.
