LG Optimus G

LG Optimus G Information:

LG Optimus G is LG's newest flagship handset which is supposed to rival Samsung's Galaxy S2 offering which was launched about 6 months earlier than this handset. Optimus G is a sleek handset which really does have lots to offer. Regarding the design, LG Optimus G has glass on both sides of the handset, on the front you'll notice a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED Plus display which is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass for protection while Corning's Glass protection can also be found on the back of the device. There are three capacitive buttons located below the display, back, home and menu button (from left to right). Other than that, this handset offers a rather industrial and yet sleek design, some might like it, while it might be somewhat regular for others.

Optimus G features a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED Plus display along with 2GB of RAM for all your multitasking needs and 32GB of non-expandable internal storage (25GB available). This handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz which comes with an Adreno 320 GPU for graphics processing. On the back of this device you'll find an 13 or 8-megapixel camera (depending on the version / market) flanked by an LED flash while there's a 1.3 shooter located on the front side of the Optimus G. This smartphone ships with a non-removable 2100mAh battery and Android 4.1.2 JellyBean with LG's Optimus UI on top of it. This UI comes with a ton of features pre-installed. LG Optimus G measures 131.9 x 68.9 x 8.5mm while it weighs 145 grams. The device is available in Black and White color options.

LG Optimus G Editor Rating:

Optimus G truly is really great device and one of the best you can find on the market as of its launch. As long as you like the Optimus UI and the general design of this handset, you'll get a real solid performance out of this. The device offers more RAM than the Galaxy S II and arguably a better SoC. This is a true flagship handset and LG hopes it might spark consumer interest, if the sales go as planned, we might see its successor next year which will, judging by this handset, be a great offering as well. Either way, this is a great device and if you're looking to buy a flagship device, you should definitely consider getting the Optimus G.
