A serving female Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman.
PC Julie Bragg, who is attached to Scotland Yard’s North West Command Unit, was charged on Wednesday in relation to the alleged assault last year.
She is alleged to have sexually assaulted the female victim on Thursday, August 15, 2024 while she was off-duty.

PC Julie Bragg is due before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, the Met confirmed in a statement.
The Met says its Directorate of Professional Standards — a unit responsible for investigating allegations of misconduct, corruption and abuse of power within the force — is aware.
