Grab Razer's Junglecat Bluetooth mobile controller for $30

Once upon a time Razer’s Junglecat mobile gaming controller was one of the best you could get, and now there’s a deal on it over on Amazon that brings the price down to about $30. Specifically it’s on sale for $30.39 which is the lowest price it’s been in over 30 days.

This was designed for the Razer Phone 2, Galaxy Note 9, and Galaxy S10 Plus as it comes with cases for each of those phones. This modular approach to the design allowed you to slot the case onto your phone and the slide the sides of the controller onto each side of the phone. Not too unlike you do with a Switch or Switch OLED and its Joy-Con controllers. Since the cases are only for those three phones, you won’t be able to use the controller in that fashion. Unless you have one of those phones still and actively use it.

The Junglecat is Bluetooth-enabled however and it has a battery life of up to 100 hours. So you can still use it with whatever phone you like via a Bluetooth connection. You’ll just need to prop the phone up first. It’s not the Razer Kishi V2 Pro which is our current favorite mobile controller. But the Junglecat walked so the Kishi lineup could run. Also worth noting is that this is considerably less expensive than Kishi V2 and Kishi V2 Pro. In terms of features you have basically everything you need here. It has a sensitivity adjustment function, a d-pad, two joysticks, triggers and bumpers, and your standard four action buttons. Plus it’s a very compact controller which makes it easy to cart around.
