The Galaxy Watch 6 has now been made official and if you’re considering picking it up, you probably want to know what the available colors are. Like past years and devices, this year Samsung is offering multiple colors of the Galaxy Watch 6. Although the color breakdown may not be exactly what you think.
See, Samsung doesn’t make its colors available for the Galaxy Watch series the same way another company might for an entirely different product. Think about a set of bath towels you might find at the store. You might see these in 5 to 10 colors all for the same type of towel. That isn’t how it works with the Galaxy Watch 6. As Samsung will only offer certain colors for certain versions. Although, this isn’t really a Samsung-specific thing. It’s more of an industry standard, and a practice that numerous brands utilize.
The Galaxy Watch 6 comes in three different colors
There are three different colors of the Galaxy Watch 6. But, you won’t be able to get all three of them in both sizes of the watch. Samsung will only offer two colors in the 40mm size, and two colors in the 44mm size. With one of those colors being the same across both versions.
If you choose the 40mm Galaxy Watch 6, you can pick it up in Gold and Graphite options.
The 44mm size meanwhile will be available in Silver and Graphite. Now worth noting is that these are just the colors for the watch cases. Obviously, you can customize things even further with the variety of bands that will be available.
And this should go without saying, but the bands don’t have to be from Samsung specifically. Thanks to Samsung’s use of a standardized watch band connection, you can grab bands from tons of different companies. But for the watch itself, these are the colors you’re working with. For now at least. Samsung may end up releasing additional colors later on. As the Galaxy Watch 5 was available in four colors. Then again it’s always possible that Samsung will stick to these three.
