Sony Xperia Z3v Information:
Sony Xperia Z3v is Verizon version of the new Sony Xperia Z3 came out after six months to replace the Xperia Z2 – it was needed to keep up with the Samsungs, LGs and HTCs. This was the first flagship Sony in a long time that was released to come out in the U.S. on a major network (T-Mobile) on time. A short while later we spied another version sneaking through approval – the Xperia Z3v is being launched exclusively on Verizon sometime by the end of the year.
The Xperia Z3v is basically the Z3 – a beautiful glass and metal device, rounded edges and easy to hold. It sports a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, although there is a microSD card slot to allow you an additional 128GB of internal storage. The normal Xperia Z3 has a 3100mAh battery, but the Z3v opted for a larger 3200mAh battery for a little extra power.
The main camera remains 20.7MP, however, the Z3v will use a 27mm wide-angle rather than the 25mm used on the original Z3. The Xperia Z3v has the IP 65/68 certification for dust and water resistance and will come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It can also be used as a PS4 Remote Play device. It measures 146 x 72 x 7.3mm and and it weighs in at 152 grams.

Sony Xperia Z3v Editor Rating:
The new Sony Xperia Z3v, destined for Verizon only, should be ready for sale by the end of the year. It has a few differences than the the original version, but is a true flagship device with a great look and feel with enough power to glide through any operation. It has a terrific camera and should provide great pictures and because it is IP 65/68 certified dust and water resistant, you can even take a few snapshots or shot a video under the water. The device may be too large for some, but it is an excellent smartphone to use as your main device.
