The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra are the company's latest smartwatches, bringing forth new and exciting features while managing to maintain the familiar features that users have come to know and love over the years. This includes things like the latest version of Wear OS, as well as increased battery life and better performance. While there are quite a few improvements and new features, these are the same great smartwatches consumers will know and love when it comes to Samsung.

The Galaxy Watch 7 carries what now feels like Samsung's timeless style for smartwatches. That means if you own an older Galaxy smartwatch like the Galaxy Watch 4, then the Galaxy Watch 7 will feel right at home for you in terms of design. The design gets even better though with the new and improved features. And the presence of Wear OS 5 certainly makes the user experience that much better.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra, meanwhile, comes with an all-new rugged design and a squircle-shaped watch case – a first for Samsung's Galaxy Watch lineup. Its most unique design feature though, is the Quick Button for initiating certain functions in an instant. No matter which watch you go with, both are geared towards helping you on the path to better health and wellness.

Plus, both watches have a wide array of features that go beyond health to make your everyday tasks easier. From checking smartphone notifications to managing your streaming music playback.

    Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is a cutting-edge smartwatch that provides enhanced health and fitness insights powered by Galaxy AI. With improved battery life, better performance, and Wear OS 5, users get an unmatched experience. It's powered by the new Exynos W1000 processor and comes in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm. Additionally, it has upgraded sensors for even more precise tracking. The Galaxy Watch 7 is a premium wearable for those who want advanced features and the latest in smartwatch technology.
    Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is a powerful, rugged smartwatch packed with innovative features for the active adventurer. Featuring Samsung's all-new Exynos W1000 processor and a long-lasting battery, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is designed to power through as long as you can. It comes in one size – 47mm, and is packed with useful features you won't get on the Galaxy Watch 7. The new Quick Button for example makes for convenient access of your most-used functions. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is the go-to device for those seeking a more rugged option.

Samsung's Galaxy Watch 7 has kept to the same price range as previous watches. The Galaxy Watch 7 starts at $299.99 and goes from up from there depending on the size and connectivity options you pick. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is $649.99.
Samsung's watches were already pretty durable and things haven't changed. The Galaxy Watch 7 uses an Aluminum frame and Sapphire Crystal Glass for the display. It's also MIL-STD-810H compliant. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is even more durable thanks to its Titanium frame. It also uses a Sapphire Crystal Glass front for the display and a mix of Sapphire Crystal Glass and Ceramic for the back.
This will vary depending on which of the two watches you pick. The Galaxy Watch 7 should last you at least a full 24 hours on a single charge, though it's much more likely it'll last longer than that. For the Galaxy Watch Ultra, you can expect 48-60 hours with the Always-On-Display enabled, and up to 100 hours with the Always-On-Display disabled.
Both watches have a feature to measure blood pressure. However, a Samsung Galaxy phone is required for this feature.
Samsung Bixby is preloaded but you can also use Google Assistant. Availability and language varies by region.
    Both watches have Fall Detection.
The watches themselves do not detect snoring. Snoring is detected by smartphones, and when the watches detect sleep, they'll check for snoring via the connected smartphone.
You can use any of the old bands on the Galaxy Watch 7 as long as they're 20mm. The Galaxy Watch Ultra has its own unique band connection system. You can however find third-party adapters to attach regular 20mm bands.
Both the Galaxy Watch 7 & Galaxy Watch Ultra come with Galaxy AI. Galaxy AI is used for various features on both watches, including smart replies, voice recorder transcripts, workout comparisons, and the sleep and energy scores.
