The reports from sources that are in the loop claiming that the rumored Motorola DROID Pro will simply be a clone of the current DROID 2, but it will consist of a HSPA and GSM radio for global communication around the world wherever there is a GSM carrier.
This picture reveals that the R2-D2 Droid 2 will be model A957 and the Droid 2 (World Edition) will be A956. It wasn’t sure what A957, but this surely clears up some of that confusion. The R2-D2 Droid 2 should still launch on September 30th, but the D2 World Edition is a complete mystery.
