Wow, that was fast! After we’ve just seen a leaked Froyo ROM for HTC Droid Incredible, we now have news that Froyo is actually coming tomorrow to all Droid Incredible owners. This means you should probably resist the urge to root your phone and update it with the leaked ROM.
The Froyo update is getting you some nice extra new features like:
- Flash 10.1
- faster overall performance (2-5x faster Java apps)
- 2-3x faster Javascript engine for your browser (Chrome’s V8 engine)
- use the phone as a Wi-Fi hotpot from your 3G connection (up to 5 devices can be connected)
- automatic app updates
and many other goodies.
Enjoy Froyo while it lasts because in less than 2 months Google should announce Android 3.0.
