Stream TV Networks published a press release saying they are launching an eLocity A7 Android tablet, with pre-orders beginning August 24th. The device features a 7 inch display, and will run the Android OS. Stream TV claims that the tablet will be able to provide display and superior graphics capabilities. There isn’t any word on the exact OS the tablet will release with and no word whether there will be a user interface on top of Android. More information on this tablet can be found on their official website.
With a high resolution seven-inch screen and streamlined dimensions of 8.2 inches by 4.8 inches, the new eLocity A7 tablet is more portable than the iPad and sports a striking design expected to appeal to a wide demographic of users. The eLocity A7 will hopefully take video viewing and gaming on a tablet device to a whole new level.
CEO Mathu Rajan of Stream TV comments, “We look forward to the launch of the eLocity A7 tablet, which provides a cutting edge solution to meet the needs of technology enthusiasts with a beautiful, versatile and affordable device. We believe we have created a worthy competitor to the iPad.” The introduction of this eLocity A7 tablet may be the first step in Stream TV’s strategic growth plan to bring to market innovative products featuring state of the art technology designed to transform consumer communications and a digital lifestyle.
