Dungeon Defenders Brings Unreal Engine to Android Gamers

Christmas came and went, and now gaming fans have their first Unreal Engine game for Android, Dungeon Defenders! Dungeon Defenders: First Wave is a 3D, RPG tower defense style game with multiplayer and campaign challange missions for players. The company behind the game, Trendy Entertainment, gave a breakdown of what to expect from the first Unreal powered game for Android saying:

“Take on the role of one of four distinct Hero classes, and battle hordes of invading creatures by strategically summoning a variety of Towers & Traps throughout your Castle. Directly partake in the action-packed combat with your hero, while leveling up, gathering tons of loot, customizing & upgrading equipment, and developing your class abilities”

Don’t take our word for it, have a look at the video!

The game does come with some pretty important minimum requirements found in its description in the Market, meaning not all Android devices will be able to handle it. Also, after purchase, there will be an additional 600 MB of game data to download, so be prepared.

The best suggested devices for the game include Tegra 2-based devices, Google Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung Galaxy S phones, T-Mobile G2, Motorola Droid X, and the Motorola Droid 2. Dungeon Defenders has already sold over 10,000 copies since its Android release, priced at $2.99 a pop. With its success Trendy Entertainment has announced an expansion to the game which will be coming out very soon.
