Motorola Atrix 4G – Hands-on with Dual Core Android Superphone

The Motorola Atrix 4G is a dual core beast of a phone that comes with a little extra bonus. The media-centric phone comes with a fingerprint scanner as a power button. You essentially swipe your finger across the back to unlock the device and if your fingerprints don’t match, it rejects your unlock attempt. A nice addition that adds to the security of the device, but there’s more. It can even be docked into an optional laptop-like device in a new way than we have seen befor,e allowing full control of the smartphone from the much larger screened docking device.

Here’s a quick hands-on, thanks to Aaron at PhoneDog.

The specs are more than impressive coming with a ton of features that are a first in the Spuerphone market. This phone is sure to be a game changer and definitely is the top Android phone on AT&T. It does feel lighter in the hand, less solid than its predecessor  the Droid X.  What it lacks in tactile feel it more than makes up for on the spec sheet.
