BBM is special messenger that Blackberry users have enjoyed and bragged about for sometime. I have used it before and it is a convenient messaging app that I wish I had on my Droid X. KiK messenger in the app store has made an attempt at this by making a cross-platform messenger, but the problem is no one really has it. In the photo above of the Droid Bionic an app labeled Motorola Messenger is present. Hopefully this messenger makes it to all Moto devices and in current products with a future update. It would be nice to have a new take on the messenger and there are tons of Motorola Droids on the market to enjoy this with. There has been no official announcement so the capabilities right now are all speculation, hopefully they pan out.
