HTC is going to be releasing a couple of new phones in the near future most likely at MWC (Mobile World Congress). A new commercial was just posted on YouTube giving a glimpse of these unannounced Android smartphones. The device pictured above is the new midrange entry rumored to be the Wildfire 2.
The Wildfire 2 appears to match up with the middle phone in the renders of upcoming HTC smartphones released a few weeks ago.The device on right brings back memories with the return of the send and end buttons; not sure what the reason behind that is. All of the devices feature front facing cameras and will be presumably run on each carriers “4G” networks”.
The phone farthest to the left is rumored to be the upcoming Pyramid it features a 4.3 inch (960 x 540) qHD display as seen on the Motorola Atrix. It will be HTC’s first dual core powered phone and will feature a blazingly fast 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm third generation Snapdragon that can shoot 1080p HD video. It will be released on T-Mobile initially with variants making their way on to other carriers.
HTC was seemingly left out when it came to super powered devices at CES, but if the leaked information pans out be prepared for one hell of a dog fight between the big three HTC Pyramid, Motorola Atrix/Bionic, and Samsung Galaxy 2. Tell us who you think has the leg up in the comment section below.
