Remember the HTC Flyer? How could you forget? It’s pretty much the most talked about tablet lately. Made by HTC, and appearing on Sprint as the Evo View 3D, it is a 7 inch tablet that distinguishes itself from the pack with a special proprietary capacitive stylus.
A while ago (about a month), we thought it might be going to T-Mobile, but then we heard word (only a few days ago) that Best Buy was to be the exclusive retailer. Newly uncovered promotional materials seem to reveal that it is soaring back to T-Mobile. Maybe the Best Buy exclusivity is for the WiFi only version? Obviously Sprint is getting it under a different name, and with CDMA/WiMax. If T-Mobile is getting it, there will probably be a T-Mobile modem in there with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ broadband.
The pictures below look to be pretty convincing, but they are just renders. Really well made renders. There is also a sneak peak re-branding of a YouTube page that seems pretty indicative of a US launch. If the Flyer is coming to T-Mobile, it will join the LG G-Slate and Samsung Galaxy Tab as tablets on that carrier’s lineup. Still no word on a price.
