Featured: Motorola Razr HD And Razr Maxx HD Could Launch As Early As October 18th After Delays

Ever since Motorola launched the first Razr or should I say the first Droid Razr, I’ve always been a fan of the design. Sure, Motorola has some difficulty rolling out updates to devices, but now that Google is behind them, things will hopefully change.

Recently, the Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD were announced and while many of us expected them to launch earlier with Motorola planning on it too, they suffered some setbacks and delays thanks to what was rumored to be a death grip issue. Instead of pulling an Apple and the CEO saying, “You’re holding the phone wrong” and then screwing up the visually appealing design with a rubber cover, the company held off to get the issues resolved.

Now, we’re hearing that both phones could launch as early as October 18th. The Razr HD is already available in Canada which makes it pretty clear that any problems with the devices have been fixed at this point. October 18th as a launch date is not confirmed, although considering that the prices of the existing Droid Razr and Razr Maxx haven’t dropped yet, the 18th could instead be the date for pre-order.

Either way, if you’re a Verizon customer and looking for a new upgrade, keep an eye out as both of these phones will be dropping very soon. One can expect prices to be the same as the previous generation.
