Featured: Quad-Core Toshiba Jelly Bean Tablet Coming Soon, Shows FCC

This is always an exciting time of year for Android and pretty much any electronics. With the holidays coming up, more companies are focused on getting more products out into the market in hopes people will snatch them up. Toshiba has been in the tablet market for a while and although not insanely successful, their Excite line of tablets made some decent sales for the company.

Thanks to the FCC, it appears that Toshiba has been working on the second generation of the Excite 10 after it was spotted getting approved. With the model name of AT300SE, it appears to feature a 1.3GHZ NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 display, and Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. Being that the second gen Excite 10 has made its way through the FCC, it’s likely coming soon.

The fact that the AT300SE is running Jelly Bean is a good sign and at least let’s us know that it should get updates once it hits the market. As far as pricing, the Excite 10 could come in around $400. Toshiba isn’t bringing anything new hardware wise to the tablet market, but if they can keep the price low and the battery life up, it could make a nice addition to the long line of 10 inch Android tablets currently available.
