Could These New Screenshots Be From the Galaxy S4?

Ready for a new leak?  Well strap on your drysuit and settle in, because we have yet another one.  This one comes courtesy of GSM Israel, and is in the form of some screenshots of Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S4.  Does it surprise you?  In one week we will get to see Samsung unveil the highly anticipated smartphone that we’ve been hearing about, which will take place at Samsung’s own event on March 14th.

Because there have been so many rumors and leaks in past models that proved to be either accurate, or a mildly creative form of fantasy, we shouldn’t count these as real just yet.

The model number attributed to these photos appears to be SGH-I337, which is the next logical iteration of the Galaxy S line from AT&T.  GSM Israel had mentioned that these exclusive leaks have come from a “very reliable source” and features a 1.8 GHz Quad Core processor.

Rumors from the past on this enigmatic curio have pointed to similar findings, and as seen from the images, there is a rebuilt Touch Wiz user interface with icons that seem more refined than the previous models.  In addition to the Smart Stay introduced with the Galaxy S3 and the Smart Rotation found in the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update, we also see the previously known “Eye Scrolling” feature, which is shown as Smart Scroll.

Looking at the definition provided, it scrolls your screen when the front camera detects your eyes moving towards one end of the screen.  Furthermore, there is another feature called Smart Pause, and by that definition it detects when your eyes move away from the screen and pauses the video you’re watching.

The screen shots also indicate that there will be a featured 1.8 GHz Quad Core processor (which, interestingly enough, still remains nameless in this case), a 5 inch 1080p display that levels out 440 pixels per inch, and a 13 mega pixel camera. On their site, GSM Israel went on to mention that it would include 2 GB of RAM, and will feature Android’s 4.2 Jelly Bean that was released last fall.  While all this sounds fun and exciting, we shouldn’t put our hopes up too high, but it does give us something to look forward to for next week.
