The HTC One has been a pretty popular device as of late. Even in our Phone War where we compared the HTC One and Galaxy S4 (in which the S4 won), our readers decided that the HTC One was the better phone. The HTC One received a little more than 90% of the vote. Which is good news for HTC, but that doesn’t translate into sales. We’ll have to wait a bit longer to see how many of us will purchase the HTC One. HTC has even said it’s received “several hundred thousand” pre orders for the device. Which has delayed it in some regions. But the HTC One is available in the UK now, at least on Three.
While the HTC One won’t be coming to the States until late April, it is now landing in the UK and available on Three starting today. As usual in the UK, the HTC One comes with a variety of purchasing options. These different options will raise or lower the price you pay up front for the phone. You can choose the HTC One from Three UK with the Unlimited Internet 500 package, you can also go for the One Plan or you can buy it contract free at full price.
The Unlimited Internet 500 plan would tie you in at £34 per month, but you won’t have to worry about internet caps. Along with 500 minutes and 5,000 text messages. The One Plan is about £2 more and includes a two year contract it’ll give you the HTC One for free, you’ll also get 2,000 minutes, 5,000 three-to-three minutes, and 5,000 text messages. It also comes with an “all-you-can-eat” data plan. Not bad for the price. Almost makes you wish plans in the US were that cheap. Since £36 is about $54 in the US.
Currently only the White/Silver edition is available at Three. I’d expect the black one to be coming soon. But you can pre-order the black version along with the same plans as we just explained above.
