Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 to have a 5.7-inch Display

It’s getting to be that time of year. Time for a ton of Galaxy Note 3 rumors. We’re expecting the Galaxy Note 3 announcement to be sometime in August. But that’s not going to stop the rumor mill. Today, we are seeing some news coming out of @evleaks about the Galaxy Note 3. Now @evleaks has a pretty stellar record for these leaks. In fact, I can never remember a time where he was wrong.

Today, @evleaks tweeted that the Galaxy Note 3 is going to have a 5.7-inch display. Which is quite different from the rumors we had been hearing over the past few months. Dating back before the Galaxy S4 announcement in March, we were hearing rumors that there would be a 6.3-inch display, then it went to a 5.99-inch display. Now we’re looking at a 5.7-inch display. Which Samsung could do without making the device any larger than it currently is. Since it is just a 0.2-inch bump, the same bump the Galaxy S4 got which kept the same size as the Galaxy S3.

Now who doesn’t want a larger display with a slightly thinner bezel? I know I’d love that. I’m really getting excited for the Galaxy Note 3 and can’t wait to see what Samsung has done with it. There were rumors that Samsung is unhappy with it’s build quality. So we might see something different with the Galaxy Note 3, then again we might not. Either way, August needs to hurry up, so I can get my hands on the Galaxy Note 3.

Other rumors for the Galaxy Note 3 include a Snapdragon 800 processor or Exynos 5 Octa processor along with 2-3GB of RAM and of course you’ve got a 13MP camera on the back. Which seems pretty likely since the Galaxy S4 has a 13MP shooter. Remember none of these specs are confirmed and probably won’t be confirmed until their event in August. So we’ll have to sit tight until then.
