Is this the Motorola Droid Ultra in White?

Over the past few days, we’ve been seeing Motorola leaks and rumors left and right. For the Moto X, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini. Just yesterday we saw a render of what the Droid Maxx is supposedly going to look like. Now we’re seeing the white version of the Droid Ultra, shown above. This was posted by XDA forum user xavierk75. This user did not specify where he got the image from or any other details about the rumored device. Also noteworthy is the fact that this is his first post on XDA. So perhaps it’s a controlled leak from Motorola themselves? It would make perfect sense since we are expecting them to announce or unveil something next week.

The phone is also said to be the XT1080, which we learned from Evleaks earlier this week is the Droid Ultra. It also passed through the FCC earlier this week. We’ve also seen the Ultra appear on Motorola’s website before.

This image doesn’t show much, but from what we can tell, it’ll have very narrow bezels, along with capacitive buttons. You can barely see them in the white frame, but there is a back, home and menu button there. Similar to Samsung, except without the physical button. You can also see the Motorola logo in the top left corner of the phone. Which is where we’ve seen the logo in plenty of leaks of the Moto X/X phone in recent months.

So far there are no confirmed specs on the Droid Ultra. But we’re going to figure they’ll be specs similar to the Galaxy S4, Xperia Z and HTC One. We know that Motorola is having some kind of event at Google’s campus on Wednesday, and Thursday of next week, so we’ll be on the lookout to see what comes out of that event. Hopefully it’s all four of these devices which we’ve been seeing leaks of for quite some time.
