Moto X Coming to US Cellular for $125 after Rebates

The Moto X is official. You’re probably tired of seeing that. But I sure am tired of writing about rumors and leaks about the Moto X. And now we know everything, well everything except a release date. Motorola is saying they will launch the Moto X in late August or early September. Now that probably depends on the carrier as well. We also know that the Moto X is coming to 5 carriers in the US. That would be Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and of course US Cellular. We’ve seen each carrier variant pass through the FCC as early as 3 months ago, before Google I/O. Which is when we thought Motorola would announce the Moto X.

Right now, US Cellular has the Moto X up on their site for pre-order. So at least you can throw money at the device now. They are also offering a free Motorola Boom wireless headset when you pre-order. And in addition they are offering a $75 switcher bonus, which of course applies to new customers, and you’ll probably need to port your number over as well. That is what brings the price down to $124.99 for the 16GB version. It appears that US Cellular is only doing a 16GB version, as their site only shows a Woven White and Woven Black, 16GB version of the Moto X. Of course there’s no customization on the US Cellular Moto X either like there is for the AT&T (and further down the road, Verizon).

The Moto X has been hyped so much that the pricing and specs have kinda made us sad that we were this excited for this phone. But I’ll hold further judgement until I can get a review unit and do a proper review of the device. So you’ll want to stay tuned for that.

How many of you are going to pre-order your Moto X from US Cellular? Let us know in the comments below.
