Moto X to Be Available on Sprint for $199; "Coming Soon"

If carrier exclusives annoy you, then the Moto X is the best possible medicine you could have ever asked for, it’s launching across five carriers in the US. Not just that but, there’s going to be a myriad of options for you to customize your device and truly make it your own. Ranging from the mundane of colors to the craziness of engravings and wood panels.

As to be expected, the device has already been confirmed as coming to Sprint, and it’s going to cost the same as it does on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon as well. $199 on contract for the 16GB model and 32GB of storage will cost you $249. It’ll be available in black and white at first, with the customization options being available in the MotoMaker some time soon.

The Moto X supports Sprint’s 4G network, which is growing steadily and currently covers around 150 markets. While there isn’t any reason to go with Sprint instead of another carrier, if their coverage is great for you then there’s no need to go elsewhere. While the Moto X might not be the device some were hoping it’d be it’s a solid-offering that manages to stand out from the crowd without relying on specs. It is going to be available on every carrier in the US though, so that’s a pretty nice bonus for those looking to swap to a better deal.
