Render of Vivo Flagship leaks, Showing off 20.2MP Rotating Camera with Nikon SLR Chip

Earlier this week, OPPO announced their N1 which has a swivel camera. Now, GSMInsider is reporting on a render coming from Vivo, which might be their next flagship which has a rotating camera. Not only does the camera rotate, but it’s also a 20.2MP camera with a Nikon SLR chip inside. This device is supposedly called the Vivo BBK. So it’s looking like the rotating camera thing is making a comeback. Or at least with the smaller manufacturers.

The second image, which is below, shows that the Vivo BBK is expected to have a 20.2MP  camera along with a Nikon single-lens-reflex chip and the aperture of F/2.0. This phone is set to join the camera race of other devices like the Sony Xperia Z1, Nokia Lumia 1020, and the OPPO N1.

GSMInsider was unable to confirm if these images are of the upcoming Vivo flagship. But it’s definitely a great looking device, but the rotating camera, I’m not so sure about. Although having a great 20.2MP camera on my phone would be pretty amazing. It’ll be interesting to see what the other specs of this device are. More than likely this device will never make it to the US, although I’d be interested if it did. In the past, Vivo devices have never come to the US, except unlocked or imported, which is not cheap.

WIth all these swiveling and rotating cameras, and 20MP camera’s coming out. Are we finally going to see some camera’s that can compete with the iPhone’s camera? What’s sad is that the iPhone 5s camera uses a Sony sensor, and it takes amazing pictures, while most Sony phones take not so great pictures. Pretty amazing.

How many of you would buy the Vivo BBK with the rotating camera if it came to the US? Let us know in the comments below.
